Ultrasound Opportunity!
Lane Pregnancy Support Center is looking for pregnant women to volunteer for free ultrasounds so that our center can complete our medical conversion and nurse training in limited obstetrical ultrasound. The ultrasounds will be performed under the supervision of a medical professional. Morning and afternoon appointments are available January 16-19th and January 30th to February 2nd. Name that Center!
LPSC plans to change its name and logo—a NEW LOOK to go with our NEW BUILDING and NEW ULTRASOUND services.
We want you to be part of the process. Put on your thinking cap! Our goal for a new name is a short, one- or two-word name that will resonate with our clients—women, 18 to 24 years old, who find themselves unexpectedly pregnant. To start, we are collecting potential names. We plan to conduct focus groups with college-age women to choose from the potential names.

Please join us in our mission and be part of touching lives and changing hearts.
Our policy is to apply all gifts received to the general support of LPSC’s mission. LPSC is a 501(c)(3) organization; gifts to the organization are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal and Oregon income tax purposes. Donations of new and gently used baby clothes, diapers, and maternity clothes are also gratefully accepted.
Many individuals, businesses and churches support LPSC. Our abstinence program, Stop and Think, is seeking to replace private grant funding that ends in 2011. As a service organization, approximately half of LPSC’s annual expenses are related to personnel and facilities. Nearly one third of our income and expenses relate to donated materials that we are able to refurbish and pass on to our clients. All materials and services are offered free of charge. Any contribution made, either monthly or annually, will help us in our mission of Making Life Possible for the unborn. Your donations are tax-deductible.

Volunteer Opportunities
Lane Pregnancy Support Center is a challenging ministry with beautiful rewards. As the body of Christ, our volunteers work together in the service of women in the midst of a profound crisis; women who often need nothing more than someone to talk to. There is an ongoing need for volunteers in a wide range of areas. If you have a desire to volunteer, LPSC can use your help at any of our Pregnancy Resource Centers, as well as many support positions. Please consider if you would be willing to help us in one of the capacities described below.

LINK: Liaison Involved in Networking & Knowledge for LPSC
These volunteers represent LPSC to their congregation and act as a liaison between the ministry and their church. They inform church members of upcoming events and make sure LPSC’s needs are communicated.
Male Volunteers
Male volunteers help the boyfriends & husbands of our clients to support their partner and unborn child.
The Storehouse
Process donated baby and maternity clothes. Positions are available in-center and at home.
Cleaning
Assist in cleaning a center. As needed, help with minor building and grounds maintenance
Office Volunteers
These volunteers perform receptionist & secretarial functions. Other activities include coordination of infant/maternity clothing. They answer phones and greet clients as well as give referrals to local organizations.
Speakers Bureau
Represent LPSC at local churches and organizations.
Events/Fundraising
Assist with bulk mailings and help with fundraising events such as the Born to Run Challenge, Baby Bottle Boomerang, and our annual Possibilities Fundraising Banquet.
Prayer Partners
Help us pray regularly for women experiencing unplanned pregnancy, their pre-born babies, the volunteers, staff and board members at LPSC, human and financial resources to operate the Centers, and for the constant presence of the Holy Spirit in our work.
